Can I have multiple eSIMs on one phone?

Yes. Modern iPhones can store up to 8 eSIM profiles. Samsung devices typically store 5 or more. You can only have 1-2 active at a time, but you can store many for future trips. This means you can download your Japan eSIM before your Tokyo trip, and your Spain eSIM before your Barcelona trip, and simply toggle between them in Settings.
